interviewwiththevampiresWe’re Looking for a Few to Add to the Crew

Ghouls, goblins and other ghostly types, as well as those less fortunate, will gather at Hobb’s Grove one day, Sunday, August 25th, to Interview with the Vampires – the first step in the search for talent longing for coveted positions in The Grove’s Haunted Forest, House or Hayride which runs Thursdays thru Sundays, Oct. 4 – Nov. 2 plus Oct. 30, 2019.

If you’re 18 or older by Oct. 4th (no exceptions) and you’d like to be part of the world’s best boo crew or work at Hobb’s Grove in any capacity (scaractor, make-up, retail, parking, ticket taking, bloodletting… ), come on out and let us meet you. It’s… painless.

Arrive any time between 9 & 11:30 a.m. to fill out applications and begin interviews. Bring your ID and Social Sec. card (If you don’t have either, come anyway, but you’ll need both if you are hired). We look for energy and attitude – we’ll teach you the rest. Costumes aren’t required but are SO appreciated! We want you to look good on TV when the Frightening group activities get under way:

Auditions will feature:

  • Screaming
  • Zombie walks
  • Witch cackling
  • Growls, Roars and Wolf howling
  • Vampire moves (bring your own fangs)
  • and finally…..Kill the person next to you / Death scene
The Grove’s location and setting have proven to be the perfect brew for an awesome Halloween experience. Haunted Attraction Magazine has chosen Hobb’s Grove for America’s Top 25 Must See Haunts. It’s been highlighted on various TV segments including MTV and MSNBC.com. Forbes.com had Hobb’s Grove in their list of the top 10 haunts and USA Today rated Hobb’s Grove at 3rd in the Nation. Hobb’s Grove is officially one of “America’s Favorite Haunted Attractions” and just received the Board of Directors Award from the Haunted Attraction Association.
